In 1993, I began my studies at the Higher School of Art and Design in Alicante. Later on, I continued my training at the Higher School of Art and Design in Burgos. What I cherish most from those years is having learnt from the sculptor Eduardo Lastres, a teacher who truly leaves a lasting impression. He helped me find the courage to devote myself body and soul to sculpture and performance, and to understand that my way of creating had a place in the world.
More than 30 years have passed since then, and in that time I have developed as a sculptor and forged a path as a performer. What began as a vocation is now almost a sacred mission for me: a way of responding meaningfully to life, to Mother Earth, to the human family and to myself.
I feel like a tool in the service of the Spirit. And what I do with my hands, the materials and the symbols, is an offering to contribute to a more empathetic, fairer, more sensitive and more balanced society.
